Amanda Wasserman

Amanda is from Long Island, New York where she grew up intensively training and performing with different dance studios and taking classes and workshops in NYC.  For her High School education, she studied dance and graduated with honors from the BOCES Cultural Arts Center (now called the Long Island High School of the Arts).  She graduated in May 2007 from Hofstra University with a B.A. in Dance & Community Health where she had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Amy Marshall, Rachel List, Anita Feldman, Maxine Steinman, Olivia Rosenkranz, and Judith Moss.  Under the direction of Judith Moss in 2007, she performed in the University of Wisconsin’s 80th Anniversary National Alumni Performance and the 2007 American Dance Guild Festival.  During the summer of 2006, she was a part of the Broadway Dance Center intern program.  Amanda is also an experienced dance educator for all ages and styles, and an award-winning choreographer.
